Today, I’m going to recommend what I believe are the 3 BEST protein powders for the ketogenic diet. I’m NOT going to be recommending the mainstream powders that are labeled specifically for keto because a lot of these have additives. To be honest, we don’t need all that extra junk. This is an isolated protein and is great for someone looking to avoid lactose due to either lactose intolerance or a food sensitivity. For someone looking for the best “bang for your buck keto protein” I would recommend going with PureWhey. It comes at a really good price point for the value it delivers. There are a few notable differences with this whey protein.

Perhaps the biggest difference is that this is NOT an isolate whey protein. This means that it is going to have some dairy proteins in it. If you are lactose intolerant, you’ll want to be aware of this.

It also does NOT contain the lecithin ingredient which helps with easy mixing. So, it may not mix as well as other proteins, but I don’t think this should affect your selection. Pure whey is whey protein in its NATURAL form which is awesome.

Cost per gram of protein is about 3 cents. (5 lb container)

"This product is more expensive than similar ones on Amazon because when you do the research you find out that this one is the only brand that sources the product from Canadian organic farms only. And not China or other countries. This is super creamy and doesn’t have that gritty texture of some pea proteins. All around a great product that I will be repurchasing."
